I was struck with inspiration while out on a shopping trip today. Here is my very own recycling public service announcement. Pass it on.

Thursday, March 30, 2006

Well things have been pretty quiet around the office lately, and I thought I might make an advertisement and see if it would bring in some questions. You can follow the youtube link to see how you can repost it on your own web site or blog or myspace or what not. Hee hee.

If you would like to post this ad on your own web site feel free to do so. Copy and paste the following code to get it on there and help spread the word.

Amy Crumb Short Interview

Wednesday, March 29, 2006

For once, I'm doing the asking of questions. I met up with Amy Crumb, great-niece of Robert Crumb, who is definitely one of my favourite comic artists. She was kind enough to answer a few questions for me.

Sisters Like The Same Guy

Tuesday, March 28, 2006

I was on the road again and got an intriguing question, the likes of which I would have only thought I'd see on the Jerry Springer show - what happens when two sisters like the same guy? My answer is here:

Why is 7-11 so expensive? Is it possible to have a healthy diet nowadays?

Monday, March 27, 2006

This question came courteous of an employee of a taco food type restaurant in West Seattle. The person seemed full of enthusiasm and was quite eager to ask me questions. I was more than happy to answer the best I could.

Are state lotteries a good thing?

Friday, March 24, 2006

From Nidrian:

Why, hello, Vampire Bear! I do have a question for you. Do you think state lotteries are a good thing? I know that the money goes to help improve schools and other public services but do you feel it's wise to make millionaires out of random yahoos who think they'd actually win against the incredible odds?

Thank you for your public service. It's very altruistic.

Introductory Video Post

I already have a subscriber on youtube! Of course, I posted this last night when it was very close to my favourite time... midnight! I will wax philosophical about my beef with midnight being called that when usually it is not in fact the middle of the night some other time.

The Beginning

I decided I wanted to make a site to help people, and to answer people's questions - on video, no less - but then I realized that I couldn't afford to make a site, or pay for a host for video files. This is chiefly because I am a bear, and therefore have no money.

Though I have no money, I do have a few friends who, while not giving me money, gave me some ideas - youtube is free, and so is blogger. So I'm using the two to make this - ask Vampire Bear. I even have a g-mail because that too is free - askvampirebear at gmail.com - I have been told to seperate it to avoid spamp. I'll add my introductory video here soon.

Meanwhile, feel free to ask any questions you may have for me, Vampire Bear by e-mail at askvampirebear at gmail.com. I hope to answer every question the best that I can.
